History Makers

History Makers is the International Summit of History, which reflects modern thinking and trends of the creators of world's leading programs (from the organizers of the Banff World Television Festival, Canada).
In November 2010, the Television Industry Committee initiated holding of the awards judging in Ukraine. National experts estimated the entries submitted to the category Best History Production.
The greatest number of votes Ukrainian judges gave the program The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers produced by Ehrlich-Goldsmith Productions, USA.
This entry was nominated in December 2010 and on January 27, 2011 at the gala ceremony in New York (USA) was named the winner in the category Best History Production.
Experts of the global television industry supported the expert opinion of Ukrainian judges; the following Ukrainian experts were jury members:
- Valeriy Babych, General Manager and Partner of the Babych-Design Studio
- Olena Durmanova, Chief of Research and Communication Services, Inter TV Channel
- Kateryna Kotenko, Executive Director, Television Industry Committee
- Oksana Petryshyn, Acquisitions Executive, TET TV Channel
- Artem Vakalyuk, Content Report, Media Business Report, Editor-in-Chief
